Captain Rob Sherrill's sailing experience started 38 years ago. He changed to power boating and then back to sailing heavily about 15 years ago. He currently holds 100T Master Captain for power and sailing vessels and is ASA certified up through coastal navigation (Advanced Coast Cruising and Radar Endorsement soon). He enjoys teaching and being out on the water because it keeps him sharp and he learns something new almost every time he goes out with students and fellow sailors. Rob also enjoys racing, but is not "hard core", and has raced extensively in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and the Galveston Bay. His ultimate goal is to retire, sail to the islands and instruct when he needs some money to repair the boat or buy food or beverage. |
